Teleprompter Tingle is Gone for Chris Matthews

But the Obama bromance tingle still remains.

The MSNBC host who served time helping Jimmy Carter nearly destroy the country and who is now cheering on Obama to do the same apparently now has a problem with the most important member of Obama's team: TOTUS.

On his show Tuesday August 31, 2010, Matthews declared Obama needs to "get rid of that damn teleprompter."

The tingles that TOTUS, whom Matthews nicknamed "hot tottie" during the campaign, aren't enough to satisfy Matthews' insatiable appetite for Obama's platitudinous speeches any longer. Matthews has now trained himself to receive tingles when he hears the words "um", "uh", "ahh", and "um, uhmm let ahh me uhmm be ehmm clear".

Obama's speechwriter, Jon Favreau , famed writer of "Couples Retreat", "Swingers", "Made", and "How I snookered voters into believing the most inexperienced Senator ever could actually lead the US and how I'm trying like hell to write my way out of it", could not be reached for comment.
